Dan Haskell a local haunter, the one that brought you the lovely tarantula pictures also does a really cool event where he takes pictures of flaming pumpkins each year.
He invited me to an event last weekend in town, but I was busy with the art show so I could not make it....sad, I would have loved to have seen his work in person.
Take a look at these pictures; they are awesome!
There are more awesome photos at this link. Check it out, they are amazing.
Oooooo, I love these! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteMe Likey! I'm thinking Shellhawk's ceramic pumpkins plus a gas line hook up for a fireplace could make for an awesome display similar to this.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to attempt a flaming pumpkin for awhile now. Maybe this is the year to do it. Those shots look absolutely beautiful though.
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea, i never thought of burning pumpkins... thanks for the post...
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! These are some really great photos!
ReplyDeleteWow! Just, wow!
ReplyDeleteAnd William, FQ and I have been tossing that around. If I can figure out a way to keep the glaze from running and fusing to the surface the pumpkin sits on, I'll be in business in a heartbeat!
Agreed! I would love one of those for my fireplace....anyone has a solution, we would be happy to hear it!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
these are really great! i threw an old pumpkin on a lit bbq once and the flames do some really cool things in the hallow parts.
ReplyDeletewish i thought to take pics though.
Oh, those are awesome....
ReplyDeleteI especially like the second to the bottom one.
