Husband says

you did that whole post and did not show the skulls on the outdoor fireplace!?!?

Oops, so, to prove to everyone that sometimes I do indeed, listen to husband.

Here are the pictures of the outdoor patio - with the skulls above the fireplace. A very cozy place to be in October :) Right now, when it is the middle of summer.....not so much so :D

Queen: Cement skulls with red dripping candles. That is about the coolest Halloween decoration I've ever seen. You say your hubby cast them in molds? Genius. Sheer genius. They are really beautiful. -- Mykal

Nice! And certainly less flammable than plaster.

Would have loved a photo of the flaming skull. Gotta keep that camera nearby at all times :D

The patio fireplace alone is awesome. Then with the skulls added? Beautiful. I'm so jealous, I would love to have that at my house.

Those are GORGEOUS!!! Did you make the moulds yourself?

Did I forget to mention that I'm moving into your house? Cuz' it's so awesome!

Mr. Macabe - yes, those are the old molds that we use for our foam skulls. When they get too worn to use for foam, we can usually get a few good concerete ones out of them before they are completely toast.

Draceana - you are welcome anytime!!!

Cheers!
