Frog on the Pumpkin

(don't tell all the other minions I said that :D) Our good friend who is much more clever than us has been helping us with the plans for the abbey (which is fitting since the abbey is named after him.)   He created these renderings for us based on our last crew/minon meeting. Much thank to Elyssa (and Toph) for drawing out the front of the abbey. These are not the final plans, but this will give you a better idea of where we are going with this project. Thanks to all the minions, this could not happen without you....really, you are all my favorites! :D

movie trailer of all time....or at least for today. I ordered mine.....I predict a movie review in my future....two reviews ( here was my first ) from me in three years....wow, we might be on a roll! :D

family with a bit of string and some mannequins :D I love FearNET!!

by Canadians.....okay, maybe it is just one....but it is a pretty powerful force to reckon with. Ghoul Friday is here! (black balloons and gray confetti fall from the sky while mornful party horns sound off in the background) Some of you that have been here for a while (and heaven knows why you do) might remember last year I started the "Meet the Halloween Obsessed Blogger" thing....with full intention to do at least an interview a month. Well, we all know that did not happen. I cannot think of it now, but I pretty sure I had a good reason for dropping the ball. Or should I say skull, cause let's be honest, with this crowd if we were playing a game....we would be using a skull rather than a ball. :) Where was I? Oh, yeah, interviews. For those of you that missed them the supremely fabulous ShellHawk , The Captain and Mr. Macabre interviews. Thanks to them for helping me start the tradition that I will hopefully finish (Thanks to Grimlock Manor - his interview...

Never underestimate the power of a website my friends. Do you find that you do just not have the time to go to all the places for your haunt information everyday?  Find you are falling behind on news and missing some of your favorite blogger posts? Me too.... Well there is help for us.  There very talented and sure handsome duo of Scary Visions and Darryl of dEdmonton.com have come up with this awesomely helpful site called Hauntopic It is not a blog and not a traditional website, nor just an RSS feed.....it is all those.  Feature all kinds of cool things happening in the "interwebs" (yes, FQ loves her LOLcats references) - do yourself a favor and check it out and be sure to bookmark it....you are going to want to come back, and come back often. Thanks to both of you guys - we haunters appreciate it! What are you still doing here?  Got check it out.....now......right now :D

I met TrickorTreat - the wonderful blogger over at Midnight in the Garden of Evil at West Coast Haunters Convention.  She is a lovely lady....even took one of our tombstone classes.  (We had to break her tombstone into 3 pieces to get it in her suit case!*) Best part of the meeting is that she surprised me with a couple lovely gifts!  One of them was the book Wicked Plants!  Being a big gardener (when I am not working on props) this book is perfect for me.....and because she is a uber nice person, she got it autographed.....and inscribed "To the Frog Queen" :D Very, very happy frog queen! Thank you so much for the book, by the time I met her it has been a busy couple months and I was running ragged....this book made me feel very special.  Thank you!. Oh, I did say presents......she also gave me a signed copy of "wicked Bugs" - which we are giving away over at the Haunted Gardens Blog ....go check it out and leave a comment to be part of th...

I get this package in the mail the other day from the cool local Halloween nut (that is why I like him) and big Davis Graveyard supporter named Josh - he told me he did metal art.....but I had no idea he was going to send me this..... It is a spider made out of scrap metal. Pretty cool actually, and heavy....I don't think this one will end up being a cat toy :D Thanks Josh, I am humbled, this is great! Check out his Etsy store Coldfusionart.
