In 2010, a Viennese and Croatian designers spun this jaw-dropping installation at a German design fair: Enormous spider-webs made entirely from packing tape. And lots of it: 117,000 feet and 100 pounds of tape went into making these “huge, self-supporting cocoons that visitors could climb inside and explore.”
Not sorry that I missed this one....I would likely have nightmares!
What's it entitled -- "Come into my Parlour"?

ReplyDeleteYou could do a whole installation, a maze of webbing, with the spider wandering around, looking for patrons of the arts to pounce on.
