I have the same problem

Let me write that down

with my cool new pen! Here is another cool present that I got this holiday season from one of my talented co-workers, a cool one that does not think Halloween is evil :) I plan on taking it to all my meetings along with my Davis Graveyard coffee mug . . . just in case someone doubts my priorities :D

My wife had made a bunch

Image
of these to sell at a holiday bazaar...I saw them and thought of you and grabbed them. Ah thanks Mark! It used to be that only happened with frogs....now I get Halloween and frog stuff!! Wooohoooo!! BTW - wore them all October, and will continue to wear them until someone from HR tells me I have to take them off. It will happen, trust me. :(

About a minute

Image
before the alarm goes off I hear a crashing sound downstairs. The cats have obviously broken something....could be a burglar, but more likely a cat is to blame. No big deal, they break things...I just wish they would be thoughtful enough to do it AFTER the alarm goes off! :D Then the vision popped into my head of Dorie scaling the shelves on the buffet to get the Pumpkin Hollow pumpkin and broke something....or maybe that breaking noise was the ShellHawk pumpkin!!! Crap! I got lucky this time. . . just a non-Halloween candle. Some days, I just have to say that they are lucky the owners are vegetarian :D

So my neighbors

Image
say that they don't decorate for Halloween.....cause they can't compete with our display. :D So I am going to show this picture to my neighbors, even though it is for Christmas decorations...I think it will work fine for Halloween :D If they will put it up, I will make them the sign.....I think carving "ditto" and an arrow pointing to our yard on a tombstone would be fitting :D

If husband and I were

Image
stuffed scarecrow dolls, this is how we could dress for Halloween. :D Jeff calls me at work and says, "Your mom dropped off something for us for our anniversary, you have to see it." "Really, what is it?" "Not going to tell you you have to see it." This is a gift from my mother on our anniversary....she said "I knew you would hate the scarecrows (too cute) but I knew if I put these masks on them......well...it would suit you down to the ground." Yep, this is perfect. I especially like that the head on the male scarecrow (husband) head is tilted to the side...cause his neck is a bit broken....and so is his leg. I got it that way really, I swear I did not push the doll (or husband) down the stairs :D A bit creepy though....now you know where the frog queen gets some of her dark sense of humor. Just love my mom!! :)

One last picture

before I take it all down tomorrow. It is 2:40 am on Saturday, I need to get up in a few hours to take the yard down. But I am still awake because for some crazy reason I decided to make everyone breakfast and lunch. Guess I have become accustomed to a certain level of stress in my life :D Anyway...figured, while I was being crazy.....I would take a few real candles out in the yard, cause husband is asleep and was not there to protest! :D This is something that I have wanted to do a very long time....but because of the weather, as it was tonight, rain presents a problem.....and with a yard this big, lighting candles every night, is just not practical nor safe.....wow, I sounded just like husband there for a moment :) Anyway, one picture by candle light to shut down the show. Cheers!
