I was showing one of the students

how to use monster mud with ordinary objects on tombstones, so I grabbed a rose from the bin and dipped it in mud and attached it to the tombstone.
Dries nice and hard and sticks like glue.  I added a few extra blooms and moved around some of the leaves on the final version, but this picture gives you and idea of the process.

One of the reasons we always have a small batch of mud around.  We always seem to be dipping something it it and slapping it on a prop.  :)

  1. So is 'monster mud' something you can buy, or is it a secret recipe that you all have concocted? I love the looks of it on the rose.
