I said I would

post pictures on Monday....hummmm, it is Tuesday morning...I am only off by 7 hours or so :)

Anyway, here are the finished pictures of Sleeping Beauty.  She got sponge coat of white to bring out the details (thank Elyssa) and then I hand painted all the dark drip marks on the edges.  She is on her way upstairs for a few weeks until she comes back down for set up.

Really looking forward to seeing this one out in the yard with all the other props.

  3. You are the Michelangelo of All Hallows Eve and your draped Sleeping Beauty proves it! She is stunning in her spookiness, sometimes what you don't see spooks you more than what you can see. I'm lovin' it all!

  14. A great idea to begin with, but my-oh-my you've executed it to perfection. My favorite parts are the entire base with all those layers of molded edges, and the way the combination of draped fabric and paint makes it so easy to imagine her face. Am also loving the way the fabric drapes down the corners of the base. Very beautiful.
