The aliens have invaded

the graveyard!!

Look at those cute little aliens...wonder where the mother ship is?

Actually they are skull molds. We started using Plasti-Paste last year instead of plaster of paris on all our molds. Makes them lighter easier to carry around. Husband had the brilliant idea to put those PVC feet on them so that they would stand up while they are being molded.

Brilliant man he is. I think I will keep him. :)

This batch we made out of cement, like we have on the patio instead of foam.

If all goes well I hope to start selling these on Etsy in the near future.

Does anyone know where I can get that time turner thingy that Hermione had? :D

  1. Oooooooooo those half skulls would be awesome in the garden!!! Can't wait till you start selling them!! I've always wanted to do something similar with cement, kinda need a garage though, so I could do them in the winter.

  2. One other thing... is the mass of boxes of Moss Out any indication want I would look forward to if I moved to the Portland area?

  3. Cool! I agree - the half skulls would be perfect peeking out of my flower bed. I'd scare the crap out of the neighbours!

  4. The half skulls are cool, I could use them in the flower beds near my front door. Love the moss out weights.

  5. Oh your hubby is so clever. Maybe you could rent him Hubby for Rent. Or better yet...maybe you could just make several of him from a mold! I bet you could sell that on ebay/etsy too!

Loving your skulls, hope you do start selling them...they are spooktacular! :o)

  6. Catching up is a real pain--I find out all the good stuff after everyone else. Like the Spiderfest. And the skulls. I haven't gotten past this post yet, so am hoping you haven't started selling and sold out because, as Mr. Macabre says: "DO WANT!"
