Since we have been teaching

tombstone classes for three years now, I thought I would do some research into the shapes of tombstones.

Look what I found:


Did not know they had names.  Off to find if they have meanings :)

    I like the look of the Gothic and Roman.

    The top-heavy ones like Basker are the easiest to push over.

    I like the Gothic and the Clover Leaf, but I think I'd like to have a Celtic Cross on mine. I just love the looks of those for some reason. Maybe a small celtic cross on the top of a gothic. Hmmmm...decisions decisions! Hopefully not one I'll have to be making anytime soon though. ;o)
