I don't want to step

on the toes of the many great horror review blogs that I love so much.

So I am not going to give a review, but I have to vent on one particular movie.

Paranormal Activity

Seen both endings now....I don't have the know how to explain why, but with either ending, I still think it was a complete waste of my time. (I apologize to any of my blogger friends that liked it....I said it was a waste of "my" time - obviously it was a perfect time for thousands and thousands of viewers :D )

On a positive note, it cool that the guy that made it was unknown...I don't blame him, I know who to blame.....it is the marketing department at Dreamworks. :)

  1. I totally agree, the movie was hyped up like crazy and after seeing it I was very disappointed.

  2. I have to totally agree with you as well... this was the first movie I have ever exercised the "TOTALLY HATED IT" policy at Movie Gallery to get a refund on....

  3. I missed the movie, but now I don't have to worry about missing the movie, thanks, I'll just save my green crinkly paper full of who knows what kind of germs. Have you ever sat down and wondered who and where your green crinkly paper has been before it went into your hand, now that's a horror story!

  4. I just recently saw it myself. I heard from MANY other blogger friends that they were not only unimpressed but BORED! So I wasn't expecting much. And it was my husband who rushed out to snag it from a Redbox the day it was released! (He SO doesn't share my paranormal/ghost/Halloween/horror enthusiasm.) Anyway, he was creeped out (also not normal) but I was like, "Eh. It was so-so." Bravo to the Hype Masters that took this $15,000 project and helped it raked in what, over $30 mil (at least, if not more now).

  5. I am glad I didn't pay money to see this in the theater. Very weak.
