You only need one reason to go to Glasgow

and it is called The Necropolis.  Now the church is grand, mind you, and definitely worth a visit.  But this cemetery is one of the most picturesque cemeteries in the UK.  It still on a hill on top of the city.  It is nothing short of spectacular and full of inspiration for gravestone and monument design.   Just another reason I am in love with Scotland. :)

Husband and I took over 150 pictures....it was funny watching the two of us fight over the camera and constantly ask the other....did you take picture of "that?" - what about "that?"

So, my blogger friends.....here is part one of The Necropolis blog posts.

Enjoy!
