Our mantra
"It will look fine in the dark."
Our yard is viewed all day long, in fact people with kids bring them during the day when it is less scary, so we really do try to make things look good no matter the lighting.
But I do have to say.....it does look way better in the dark :)
Wish us luck tonight....first full effects night of the season!
I am so going to need a cocktail when this is over!! :)

It will be FINE. In fact, it will be great. Best of luck :)

ReplyDeleteGood luck, despite the rain! Our haunt is closed this year so everyone can recharge their batteries. Which we could come see yours!

ReplyDeleteLooks great!
ReplyDeleteyeah, that's looking great!
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty awesome! I'm sure if it looks that good during the day it will look perfectly creepy at night.
ReplyDeleteA Rimmer tombstone!!! He's also a fantastic swimmer. And if you play your cards right then he just might come round for dinner!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Acorn....you made my day!! :D
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Looking good!
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic. I can't wait to see more pictures.
ReplyDeleteYour set-up actually holds up really well during daytime visibility. As you know, I am of the mind that yard haunts suffer when seen by day. Because of this I don't decorate my yard until October 31st, and if I can, I take it all down after the trick or treaters go home. With Halloween on the weekend it's more problematic because I get a lot of curious looky-loos while I'm setting up, including kids. During the week, it's great because everyone's at work, and kids are at school, and no one really gets to see it until it starts getting dark anyway. The detriment is that it's a lot of work for just a few hours of display, but I like the magic of it appearing and disappearing all on that one special day.
You have the best home haunt I've ever seen; you’re an inspiration to all home haunters without a doubt.
ReplyDeleteWish I lived closer to see it in person, good luck.
I concur....it looks wickedly creepy and yet also so pretty in many ways. I'm warped like that! Good Luck! :o)
ReplyDeleteOne word; WOW! Dang, I do wish I could be there to see it in person. Daylight or otherwise.
ReplyDeleteLooks extra spooky in the dark! Great job
ReplyDeleteIt will look better than FINE!!! Unbelievable work. I love your lighting setup. Your electric meter must be smoking by the end of the night!
