So they sent me a letter

asking for donations for an auction.  I knew they were just looking for "Halloween" people since the auction is in October.  So I called them back and said I would be happy to help (it was for a hospital and I have friends that work in the medical field....anything to help) but I told them that my stuff was not exactly small :)

I usually sell one of the monks for $200 - $400 depending on the size.  I never let a tombstone go for under $75, and I really did not have any of those that I wanted to part with.  And everything we make is large scale, not exactly something you can just put on a table...unless it is a big table. :)

So I told her that, well....I know lots of people that make cool things in the $20 - $50 range, and I do have a collection in my basement for my party, let me see what I can put together for you.

So here is a blurry picture of a few of the items we donated....I forgot to take a picture when I was done...trust me they looked better all wrapped up.   I have a pumpkin from Pumpkin Hollow, a pumpkin with battery votive from ShellHawk and a Brains vs. Coffee (basket*) from Ghoul Friday. 



I also put together one of our concrete skulls with a candle melted on top.  Husband is making them in what we are going to call "limited edition" crated versions.  He is making custom shipping crates for them, they look awesome....I wish I would have taken a picture before I packed it away.  Trust me it was awesome. :)

Hope to hear that the items did well in the auction. 

* I know...Starbucks how original :)  This is the NW, Starbucks is just a few hours away.....so it is sorta local.  If I had more time I would have tracked down a cooler hip coffee.  Hope Ghoul Friday forgives me for paring her up with Starbucks  :D
