What is not to like about

flaming pumpkins!

Dan Haskell a local haunter, the one that brought you the lovely tarantula pictures also does a really cool event where he takes pictures of flaming pumpkins each year.

He invited me to an event last weekend in town, but I was busy with the art show so I could not make it....sad, I would have loved to have seen his work in person.

Take a look at these pictures; they are awesome!

There are more awesome photos at this link.  Check it out, they are amazing.

  2. Me Likey! I'm thinking Shellhawk's ceramic pumpkins plus a gas line hook up for a fireplace could make for an awesome display similar to this.

  3. I've been wanting to attempt a flaming pumpkin for awhile now. Maybe this is the year to do it. Those shots look absolutely beautiful though.

  5. Wow! Just, wow!

And William, FQ and I have been tossing that around. If I can figure out a way to keep the glaze from running and fusing to the surface the pumpkin sits on, I'll be in business in a heartbeat!
